P2Pottery is a family business and our studio, as well as creating original art works, specializes in the production of ceramic replicas from different historical periods. Our inspiration comes from archaeological ceramics which we study in various collections of European museums. On our website you will find pottery from the Prehistoric Era, the Middle Ages and the New Age.
From the Prehistoric Era we produce ceramic replicas from the Stone Age, Bronze Age, Iron Age and Halstat. In our shop you can find ceramics from different cultures including Bukovohorsky, Kalenderbersky, Otoman, Bell Cup , Celtic and many others.
Our replicas of the Middle-Ages are based on discoveries around Trenčín Castle and the town of Trenčín. Our range of ceramics from the Middle Ages has also been enriched by sculptures, floor tiles and reliefs from this era.
The New Age is represented by replicas of regional majolica which was made in and around the area of Trenčín between 1740 and 1790 and also in our own designs.
The art displayed here can be purchased in the souvenir shop which is a part of our workshop studio.
We also organise various educational activities and exhibitions in the grounds surrounding our studio that focus on life during historical times. |
